Going live: the three finished sites

Each site is built, reviewed and running at a preview address. The only step left is on the domain side: two DNS records per domain, set by whoever manages the GoDaddy account the domains live in. This page is written to be forwarded to that person as-is.

What to change (per domain)

In GoDaddy → My Products → the domain → DNS, set these two records. Delete any existing A record for @ and any CNAME for www first (parking records), then add:

TypeNameValueTTL
A@143.198.182.180 600
Awww143.198.182.180 600

Nothing else changes: email (MX), any other subdomains and the registration itself stay exactly as they are. The change usually shows within 10–30 minutes; the "check" buttons below look it up live.

The three sites

What happens on our side once a domain points here

  1. The web server answers for the real domain (configuration is pre-written and only needs enabling).
  2. A free certificate is issued automatically, so the site is https from the first minute.
  3. The preview address starts redirecting to the real domain, so every link already shared keeps working.
  4. Search Console is set up for the real domain and the sitemap submitted.

That side takes under fifteen minutes per domain and needs nothing from you beyond the DNS change.

If you would rather we do the DNS change

Add walhus@gmail.com as a delegate on the GoDaddy account (Account settings → Delegate access → Invite, with "Products, Domains and Purchase" access). Delegation can be removed the same day once the records are set; we never see the password.
